Evolution: taking a standWaldmark, 21 April 2008Introduction to my position on Evolution. Scientists claim the right to believe in the Theory of Evolution. They also claim the right to call their belief 'proven facts.' I accept, of course, their right to do so. I claim the right to call the Theory of Evolution a belief based on assumptions. It is a staggering accomplishment, this globe we’re on. Not to mention the wider universe we’re hanging in. I marvel at God’s creative powers and unfathomable wisdom which made it all. I also have great respect for the numerous men and women of science who have made truly great discoveries. I marvel at the ingenuity of the human mind. I only wish more of our vast resources would be directed to honour the Almighty God for His works, rather than countless billions being spent on trying to find proof for the most brutal system ever imagined by mankind: the process of Survival of the Fittest, also known and worshipped as Evolution’s Favourite Tool. On this website I will file some thoughts on Evolution. I will not try to convince anyone, though. In order to be convinced, well, a person needs to want to be convinced. Opinion, as belief, is an attitude based on a decision of the will. But just as almost the entire world claims the right to teach the Cruelty of Evolution to the impressionable minds of our innocent young children, so do I stake my I claim to remain forever opposed to the barbarity of a system that applauds sacrificing the poor and needy in order to satisfy the greed of the rich and powerful. Evolution is not a proven fact; it is part and parcel of the lifestyle that is based on “Life has no meaning.” | Choose font size |
